Meet Our Team
Carrie Strachan, Co-Leader
Carrie is a Yoga Alliance 200 ERYT/YACEP and has been teaching yoga since 2006. She earned her BA from Pepperdine University. In 2012, she was introduced to Holy Yoga, an international non-profit wellness ministry where she served on the leadership team as the Northwest Regional Director and as a Lead Trainer for their 225-hour teacher training program. Carrie believes that God called her to these positions to give her the opportunity to integrate her four passions: Jesus, yoga, woman’s spiritual health and holistic wellness.
Carrie believes that we are all created on purpose, for a purpose by a most colorful God. Carrie delights in coming alongside other woman during all seasons of life. She aims to help them uncover their unique giftings while encouraging hope and healing in Jesus. She cheers women on as they confidently say yes to their callings and becoming effective servant leaders in every areas of life they touch. Carrie's own life story lends testimony to how God often calls each of us in the most unconventional and unexpected ways! In 2017, she was called to Kenya with a team from Beyond the Mat Ministries. She continues to travel back each year to serve, lead and love on women and children. She returns home each time with a changed heart; a deeper knowing of God.

In 2020, Carrie joined Be New, partnering with her life friend & life coach Katie Pearson in co-leading women through SheLeads; Answering the Call to Servant Leadership in Christ and a variety of Be New Book Club offerings. Daily, she is in awe of the aesthetic beauty in the PNW and celebrates being a mom to four treasured gifts from God.
